Have you ever taken the time to ponder what it means to be made in the image of God? We all possess an inner beauty that is more than meets the eye. These works were birthed with the idea that when we pause and take the time to know each other (and not just see the exterior), we see the true beauty of who we are--we see the image of God in one another. The longer we look, the more beauty we see.
These works are representational of this truth. I created each layer of these exhibition pieces having original pattern designs that were crafted to reflect the inter beauty of the person. They sit beneath the first layer simpler in style and color to reflect skin tone.
Chosen
Kind, passionate, and chosen by God. Alex is all these things and more, and he revealed himself through story. I am learning the beauty of listening through our friendship.
Lifting
I can always count on my two brothers. They have a special discernment that knows when I’m down. In response they encourage me, laugh with me, and push me to go to new heights.
Strong
My father has been many things for many seasons, the most consistent of these has been a strong presence.
Inspiration
This piece is a depiction of my mother who has inspired me in so many different ways. The strongest inspiration I get from her is just watching the way she lives.

Before you is a representation of one of my best friends Lydia, there are so many beautiful and contagious things about her. My favorite is her courage.
